Intro: How to Melt a Hole in a Coke Can

I was bored one day and I had some strobe fireworks and n empty can lying around. I put them together and came up with this!--WARNING--Fire can burn you! Also the can is hot for about 30 seconds after the fire goes away

STEP 1: Materials

You will need:
empty can
Flashing signal fireworks
lighter

Optional
M85 fircrackers

STEP 2: Setup

Hold the strobe at the bottom(don't worry it has a long fuse)
Light it
Let go(make sure it goes in the hole)
run away and watch

STEP 3: Optional

Now's the part where the firecrackers are used.Just stick it in after the can cools down, light it, and run away.

Those M-95 firecrackers probably only have 0.5 - 1 grams of flash powder.
YES, SPARKS! You've got good taste in how to get drunk my friend.
you can melt them better with the stuff that falls of sparklers. just sorta falls of the wire about two boxes then wrap it in tin foil. pour nail polish remover in to can light it on fir stick the little foil thing in and wait foom melted tin can
were i live almost all fireworks are illegal. it sucks.
.....dang lucky.....everything is illegal here, if it moves or blows up they can't sell it.....
i think this may actually be burning, and not melting, but either way it is another excuse to play with potentially explosive pyrotechnics :)
a beer caN,fire works of which are illegal and a whick cool.
In some places, such as Virgina, or other places, it isn't illegal, it depends on the state, is what I'm trying to say.
If they're illegal, then why does sheltons sell them? Thats where I bought all this stuff from. I don't live in the city and my neighbors are far enough away they don't care. ```` The reason for the beer can was I didn't have any empty pop cans lying around.
LOL ... "WARNING--Fire can burn you!"
its true
That's pretty cool the spark throwers heat up and weaken the can then firecrackers blow a hole in the side.
Add a video if you can. It would be cool to watch.
My street does this every year and has been bacically since I moved here.
