How to Teach Your Dog to "Salute and Spin"

Supplies:

1. Clicker
2. A lot of little treats
3. Plenty of post it notes
4.Patience Yourself Your dog
5. And If needed train on a leash

Step 1: Stick a Post It Note Just Above Your Dogs Brow

When he paws it off click and treat

Step 2: Give a Gesture and a Command Like "salute"

Over time take away the post it and just tap his head. Gradually ween off this and just say salute and touch your own head. Be patient.

Step 3: Lure Your Dog in a Circle Using a Treat

Say "spin" as you do this with the treat circulating above his head at... Then take the first salute and add the spin and click then treat

I have been recently trying this with my dog, but when she has the sticky note on her, she usually just waits for a bit before rolling around to get the note off. What can I do?

Believe it or not-- even if your dog is stubborn (like mine) she will catch on pretty quickly!
