Step 1: Nail Preparation
- Begin by shaping the client's nails with a file to achieve the desired length and shape.
- Gently push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher.
- Remove any excess or dead cuticle tissue with a cuticle trimmer.
- Buff the surface of the nails to smooth out any roughness or ridges. Ensure the nails are clean and dry before proceeding with the application.
Step 2: Sizing the Tips
- Evaluate each finger individually to select the appropriate size tip from the kit.
- Utilize the numbered tips in the kit to easily compare and find the correct fit for each nail.
Step 3: Preparing the Tips
Depending on the skill level of your nail technician consider:
- filing the inside of the nail tips to enhance adhesion.
- Or apply a thin layer of acetone to the inside of the tips to remove any residue and promote better adherence.
Step 4: Applying Bonder Liquid
- Use a bonder liquid as a dehydrator to prepare the natural nails.
- Ensure the natural nails are completely dry and free from oils or debris to optimize bonding.
Step 5: Applying Primer Liquid
- Apply a primer liquid to the natural nails to create a sticky surface, facilitating better gel adhesion.
Step 6: Applying Extending Gel
- Apply a thin, even layer of extending gel onto the prepared natural nails, extending it slightly beyond the nail tip for added strength and durability.
Step 7: Curing in UV/LED Lamp
- Place the hand under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds to cure the extending gel, ensuring it sets properly.
Step 8: Applying Gel to Tips
- Apply a small amount of gel to the underside of the tip.
- Ensure the client's hand is positioned straight for optimal application.
- Press the gel tip onto the natural nail, gently securing it.
- Use a handheld LED light to cure the gel for 30 seconds, focusing directly on the nail.
- Have the client place her hand back under the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds to cure the gel and ensure durability fully.
Step 9: Repeat on All Fingers
