How to Attach Sofa Springs on to Shoes

A few days ago we were destroying an old couch. When I saw the springs I had the idea of taking them off and attaching them onto my shoes. I sewed Velcro onto the springs and attached them onto my shoes. if the springs keep falling off I suggest adding another strap onto the springs.

Supplies

• Hacksaw
• Vice-grips or pliers.
• couch springs
• Velcro
• needle and thread or sewing machine.

Step 1: Removing the Springs From the Couch.

Find the wires that are attaching the springs to the couch and remove them. After you cut the bottom of the spring, the spring should come right off.

Step 2: Attaching the Velcro.

Cut the Velcro in to four equal pieces. and sew them on. Make sure that the Velcro with the hooks are on one side of the spring and the Velcro with the loops are on the other side.

Step 3: Putting Them on Your Shoes.

To put them on your shoes, just put the shoe on the shoe on the spring and then wrap the Velcro around it.
