Remove almond skins easily with this simple technique.

Step 1: Blanch

Place 200 grams (7 oz) of almonds in boiling water for one minute. Remove from the boiling water.

Step 2: Remove Skins

Press the almonds with your fingers to remove the skins. Rinse, arrange on a baking tray and bake at 60 ° C (140 ° F) for 5 minutes. Cool completely. You can make blanched almond meal (flour) with these blanched almonds.
