Introduction: How to Charge Your Cell Phones With Normal Batteries
THIS INSTRUCTABLE IS ABOUT HOW U CAN CHARGE ALL OF YOUR CELL PHONES WITH NORAML AA BATTERIES. DURING ONE OF MY SUMMER VACCATION I FORGET MY PHONE CHARGER AT HOME AND DONT WANT TO SPEND MY MONEY FOR NEW CHARGER. SO I THINK TO CHARGE MY PHONE AT HOME USING A HOME MADE AA BATTERIES CHARGER.SO HERE WE GO--
STEP1)FOLLOWING THING U NEED:-
1)a charger plug,
2)resistor 2
3)cell phone
4) 4 AA batteries AA.
5) wire
STEP2) CONNECT ALL THE 4 BATTERIES TOGETHER SUCH AS POSITIVA OF ONE CELL CONNECT WITH NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF OTHER BATTERY. CONNECT ALL THE 4 AA BATTERIES LIKE THIS ONLY. I USED A BATTERY HOLDER WICH I EXTRACTED FROM MY OLD TOY CAR. I PUTTED ALL THE BATTERIES IN IT
STEP3) CONNECT A WIRE IN POSITIVE TERMINAL OF BATTERIES AND A WIRE IN NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF BATTERIES AFTER U ALL JOIN IT. i.e. in photograph.
STEP4)NOW CONNECT RESISTOR 2 IN POSITIVE WIRE.
STEP5) NOW CONNECT THE POSITIVE WIRE WITH RESISTOR TO ANY WIRE OF CHARGER PLUG AND OTHER WIRE TO OTHER WIRE OF CHARGER PLUG.
STEP5) NOW JUST CONNECT THE CHARGER PLUG TO YOUR CELL PHONE AND SEE HOW IT WORKS.
YOU HAVE JUST MADE THE CHARGER AT HOME BY YOURSELF.HOPE U LIKE IT.
THANK U!!

what is the capacity of your resistor? I mean how much does 1 of your resistor hold.?
Reply 3 years ago
one resistor can hold upto 8 volts current

why did use 2 ohm resistor exactely?
do u think i can use less than 2 ohm?
do u think i can use less than 4 AA batteries?
Reply 3 years ago
u cant beacause as we know v=ir so if we use 2ohm resistor to 4 ampere cell so result will be 8volts it is enough to charge your phone if we use less than 2 think 0.5 ohm resistor we use then result will be 2 volt which cannot charge your ohone efficiently if u use resistor more than 2 that means 3 or 4ohm then result will be 16 volts will be means ur phone will be damaged so plz use 2 ohm for charging

it may damage the phone , cuz it has nothing which controls the current and voltage .
our chargers are a constant current and constant voltage sources

so we are using resistor which controls current

Why to use resistor?

see if we directly connect with phone if battery power is high so it causes harm to your phone if you use resistor the power will be equal so your phone will be safe

Because its the law.......Ohms Law! Bazinga.
