4) Introduce your agenda – I’m going to show you how to work up the land

Step 1: Step 1

You will want to walk up the stairs on the tractor and go to the door, put your stuff down and walk down the stairs and check the oil on the tractor. (There is a hole in the hood where you pull the dip stick and look on where the oil level is). If the oil is good you want to put the dip stick back and go up the stairs and start the tractor if the oil is not good you want to add more oil (If you need to add oil you want to open the hood and right above where the dipstick is there is a tube that goes to the engine and you want to open that and add oil into the tube). When you are done check the oil to make sure you have enough. Once you have enough oil you can start the tractor.

Step 2: Step 2

Once you start the engine you want to let it warm up if its cold and if it is warm out you can go ahead and start it. After you start is you a green check mark will come up on the GPS you want to click the green check mark on the GPS. After that you want to unfold the chisel (if you look on the right side of your seat there is an arm rest with the hydronics). you want to push the pink hydronic or number two forward and the chisel should unfold, you want to hold that down till the chisel is all the way folded down. You can move forward (moving forward you want to hold back the lever on the back of joystick and push the joystick forward at the same time by doing this you should move forward and if you don’t know look at the front screen to see if there is one green arrow facing forward) notice if you hold the joystick forward the tractor will get faster

Step 3: Step 3

When you get moving slowly look at the field and decide what angel you want to chisel at (you want to go against the way the planted so if they planted the field at 185 angle you would want to go 180 angle or 190). How do you do that? You want to click the button that has a tractor with two dotted lines on the side of it that is on the GPS, then click on a+ angel after you do that you want to punch in whatever angle you want to chisel at. After you pick a number, you push the green check mark, and it will say do you want to overwrite the other angle and you want to say yes and after that there should be a little A with an arrow you click that, and your lines show up on the GPS you can also do this park also.

Step 4: Step 4

After the lines show up on the GPS you can start anywhere you want all you have to do is get the tractor lined up with the lines on the GPS and push go (on the joystick) there is a button that says go and stop when you are ready and lined you push go and the tractor will let the chisel down and get up to speed for you so all you have to do now is watch the chisel and wait till you have to turn around when you turn around you want to push stop and slow down when you are turning make sure your track does not hit the hitch of the chisel.
