Introduction: How to Clean Laminate in 3 Easy Steps
High-pressure laminate countertops have incredible durability, but sometimes they get stained and it can be hard to get those spots off.
Here are the 5 steps to clean and refurbish your laminate countertop.
First, you will need:
- a magic brush
- a solution based on water and liquid detergent or -
- for stubborn stains, a cleaning solution such as Fantastic, Pine-Sol or Formula 409 diluted with water
- a cotton cloth
Step 1:
With the magic brush or rag, clean the counter surface by rotating until the stains are completely gone.
Step 2:
Rinse the countertop with a cloth moistened with water.
Step 3:
Allow to dry in the open air.
Step 4:
The beauty of laminate countertops is their ease of cleaning. When you have the right elements to clean it, you are almost sure to get rid of any stain. However, it is best not to use abrasive cleaners or steel wool, so as not to damage it.
