Introduction: How to Create the Junior Mental Flop
I've always liked twisty puzzles like Rubik's cubes, and I wanted to bring to life a twisty puzzle that was simple to make, and can scramble into a variety of different shapes, as well as provide a challenging solve.
So in walks, the Junior Mental Flop, where all of these things can be achieved. Affordable to print, easy to assemble, fun to play with, and challenging to solve!

Step 1: Step 1: Print the Pieces

What you'll see, starting from the front row, are 3 centers, then next row shows 8 edges, and then the final two rows are 8 corners.
One of the corners has the ball core attached to it.
You will just need 3 M2X7 screws
Step 2: Step 2 Screw in the Centers Into the Core
Not too tight, leave enough slack so that you can place the edges between them later.
Step 3: Step 3: Place the First Two Edges
Place it as shown above. See video for more clarifications!
Step 4: Step 4: Place the Next Corner
This will slip nicely in between the edges placed.
Step 5: Step 5: Place the Next Edge
This one goes in between and just above the two corners.
Step 6: Step 5: Place the Next Edge and the 3rd Corner!
This snaps right into place to the right of the edge.
Step 7: Step 7: Place the 4th Edge
This also just snaps into place. You're halfway done!
Step 8: Step 8: Turn the Puzzle Over and Place the Next Edge and Two Corners
Turn the puzzle over and place the next edge as shown. Now place the 5th and 6th corner.
Step 9: Step 9: Place the Next Two Edges in Between the Center and Two Corners
Place the next two edges as shown. Make sure you keep that last center screwed pretty loose for more ease of placement.
Step 10: Step 10: Snap in the 7th Corner
You now have 3 pieces left! Snap in the 7th corner between the center and the edge. It should go on pretty easy.
Step 11: Step 11: Place the Last Edge in the Proper Place in the Last Corner, Then Snap Them Into the Center.
This will be the hardest part, but you're taking the small edge and lining it up with the corner as shown. Again, see the video for some clarification.
Then, with gentle pressure, snap the corner/edge pair into place sliding it under the center, which is still loose. Once you feel it has snapped in place, and it feels stable, snake a small screwdriver underneath, and then tighten the screw until all of the pieces are stable and held in place.
Step 12: Step 12: Sticker and Enjoy!
