Introduction: How to Crochet Spider Lace Stitch

Hello my beautiful crocheters, today I’ll show you how to crochet this beautiful spider lace stitch.

You'll need: "Cairo" 100% Combed Crochet Cotton and a 2 mm crochet.

Abbreviations:

ch= chain;

sc= single crochet;

dc= double crochet.

Pattern Instructions:
To make a project with this pattern you have to make multiple of 14 chain, I wrote the pattern for 28 chain for helping you to see how the pattern is shaping.

Step 1: Row 1

Chain 3, 1dc in 1st ch, 3ch, skip 3 ch, 5 sc, 3ch, skip 3ch, 3dc, 3ch, skip 3 ch, 5 sc, 3ch, skip 3ch, 2dc;

Step 2: Row 2

Chain 3, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3 ch, 3sc in 2nd, 3rd, 4th sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 1ch, 3dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3sc in 2nd, 3rd, 4th sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 1dc;

Step 3: Row 3

Chain 5, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3 ch, 1dc in 2nd sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc in 1ch of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc in 2nd sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc on the edge.

Step 4: Row 4

Chain 1, 2 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 2 sc on the edge.

Step 5: Row 5

Chain 1, 3 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in 1 ch of previous row, 3 ch, 5 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in 1 ch of previous row, 3 ch, 3 sc.

Step 6: Row 6

Row 6: 1 ch, 2 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc, 1 ch, 3 dc, 3 ch, 3 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc, 1 ch, 3 dc, 3 ch, 2 sc;

Step 7: Row 7

Chain 5, 3 dc in space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 1 dc in space of 1 ch, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 1 dc in 2nd sc of previous row, 3ch, 3 dc in space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 1 dc in space of 1 ch, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 dc on the edge.

Step 8: Row 8

Chain 3, 3 dc in space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3 sc, 3 ch, 4 dc;

Step 9: Row 9

Chain 3, 1 dc, 3 ch, 5 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in space of 1 ch, 3 ch, 5 sc, 3 ch, 2 dc;

Step 10: Row 10

Chain 3, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3 ch, 3sc in 2nd, 3rd, 4th sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 1ch, 3dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3sc in 2nd, 3rd, 4th sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 1dc;

Step 11: Row 11

Chain 5, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3 ch, 1dc in 2nd sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc in 1ch of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc in 2nd sc of previous row, 3ch, 3dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc on the edge;

Step 12: Row 12 and Finish!

Chain 1, 2 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 3 sc, 3 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 1 ch, 3 dc in next space of 3 ch, 3 ch, 2 sc on the edge.
