Introduction: How to Do Straightener Curls

I curled my client's hair with a straightener; if you follow this step-by-step, you might also learn how to do straightener curls! Curling with a straightener is essential because if you don't have a curling iron and want to curl your hair, you can do it with a straightener. Straightener curls are tricky, and you might have to practice it a lot to get it down, but keep yourself from beating yourself up over it. I believe that straightener curls are the best because there are many ways to make different coils with the straightener!

Supplies

The tools you need are a flat iron, clips, and a styling comb, as shown in the picture.

Step 1: De-tangleing

Use your styling comb to de-tangle the hair, starting at the bottom and working to the top.

Step 2: Section

Take the comb and section the hair to where it is easier to curl and less thick, and clip the remaining hair up with a clip.

Step 3: Curling

Take a small piece of hair from the part you sectioned and take the straightener and curl away from the face by twisting the flat iron until the hair is all pulled through.

Step 4: Curling the Rest

After curling that section, take the hair out of the clip and make another section. Continue doing the same until the rest of the head is finished.

Step 5: Finish Product

After curling all the hair, let them set and run your fingers through the curls so they are looser, and then you are done!
