Introduction: How to Draw the Best Zentangle Doodle Design for Beginners

Well this a zentangle Design in a circle, this is just with some random imagination and getting it done with time and finally loving the art piece.

Supplies

Well for this project, I used

1- Standard drawing file

2- Micron markers

3- Black sketch pens

4- Graphite pencil.

Step 1: The Beginning

In this step, I made 2 circles one smaller and one slightly bigger in radius as your can see in the image.

You can make similar circles as per your drawing file size.

Step 2: Making of the Whale

In this step, I cut the circles into 60:40 ratio horizontally, made a whale like structure in the bottom section with a wing like structure as you can see in the image.

Step 3: Whale and the Leaf

In this step, I made a zigzag like structure on the above side of whale, and 3 leaf like structure below my whale.

Step 4: Water Droplets

Make some droplets like design in the remaining portion as given in the picture.

Step 5: The Black Water

I focused on completing the bottom portion all at once. so I covered the bottom portion by doing all black color in it excluding the leaves, whale n droplets structure and covering the rest of it.

Step 6: Whale With an Eye

Given my whale and eye :), while few water drops in rest of the area.

a dot design in the wing.

Step 7: The Upper Half

Now in the upper section, made 3 leaves while making the design in the first 2 as shown in the image

Step 8: Covering the Left Half

Now a big wave like structure starting from the upper 2 leaves intersection point.. ending with 5-6 water drops figure.

covering the area with full black color while excluding the wave n drops and covering the rest of it.

Step 9: Vertical Lines

Now just below the wave made a 3 intersecting figures and covered it with black cover, and small vertical lines like design

Step 10: Long Leaf on the Right

In the upper right left portion now, covered it with slim long leaf like figure. and few cones and semi circles.

Step 11: Yingyang on the Right

While after step 10 made yingyang like design to cover the portion.

Step 12: Semicircles With Black Color

After step 11, the 3 semi circles are covered with infinite semi circles and covering with slightly smaller black semi circles.

Step 13: And Its Done

In the final step to finish the art piece, the last long slim leaf is filled with straight lines zig zag pattern in it, moving from downwards to upwards.
