How to Fix or Replace Beninca Gate Remote

This tutorial will cover how to fix or replace your Beninca Gate Remote transmitter, and also give you information on where to buy a new, replacement 433.92 MHz Beninca transmitter.

If your Beninca Gate Remote isn’t working, you are probably facing one of the following issues and you need:

a new battery
to reprogram your remote
a new remote

Step 1: How to Change a Battery?

The battery is the probably easiest fix. Take a look at your remote and search for the screws. Usually, they are on the backside of the remote. If not sure try to Google your remote model with “battery”, “battery replacement”, “disassembly”, etc. keywords to find the opening procedure.

Unscrew the screws and replace the battery. Usually, a 12V 23A battery is used (AliExpress, eBay). Put the best quality battery you can inside.

Some of the remotes will have to be programmed again after the battery replacement. If so, take a look at the programming step, below.

Step 2: How to Reprogram Your Beninca Gate Remote?

If you’re missing your programming manual, no worries, first take a look on Google. If there is nothing on the Google open your Beninca control box (the part which controls the gate – where electronics are located). Be aware of the electricity!

In most cases, you are looking for the “PGM” button on the control box. If you got one, you’ll have to press that button. LED in your control box will probably start to blink and you have to press the desired button on the remote, to pair the transmitter with the receiver.
