Introduction: How to Fold a Shirt Like Retail Stores

Supplies:

One t-shirt

Step 1: Lay Shirt Flat

Lay shirt flat on a table or on the floor.

Step 2: Front Logo Facing the Ground

Make sure the back of the shirt is facing you so the front of the shirt is facing the ground.

Step 3: Fold Right Sleeve

Grab the sleeve on your right and fold it towards the middle of the shirt.

Step 4: Adjust Fold If Too Far

If you see the logo on the edge peeking out, then the fold is too far and you need to unfold it and fold it again.

Step 5: Fold Bottom Remaining Portion

Grab the bottom portion of the shirt and fold it inwards to give an even fold on the right side.

Step 6: Fold Left Sleeve

Grab the sleeve on your left and fold it towards the middle of the shirt.

Step 7: Check If Fold Too Far

If you see the logo peeking out again, then adjust your fold once again to ensure the logo is not peeking out.

Step 8: Fold Remaining Bottom Portion

Grab the bottom portion of the shirt and fold it inwards to give an even fold along the entire left side.

Step 9: Tidy Up Creases

Run your hand over the crease on each side to make it look neat and straighten out the sleeves to get rid of wrinkles.

Step 10: Fold in Half

Grab the bottom of the shirt and fold it to the top of the shirt.

Step 11: Flip Shirt Around

Flip the shirt around so the front of the shirt is facing you.

Step 12: Tidy Up Creases

Run your hand along the creases just to make sure it is neat and presentable.

Step 13: Tidy Up Other Creases

You may need to grab the top crease and put your finger between the fold and press out to make a neater crease, if necessary.

Step 14: Hand Placement

Grab the middle of the shirt with your thumbs on the logo side and your four other fingers on the other side.

Step 15: Fold Shirt in Half Again

Lift the shirt off the table and allow the bottom portion of the shirt to fall underneath your hands and then lay the shirt back on the table with the front collar facing you.

Step 16: One Last Tidy Up

Align the shirt on the top and firm up the creases to make the shirt look neat.

Step 17: Congratulations!

You have completed the task of folding a shirt like a retail store, good job!
