How to Get Rid of Chicken and Predators Stealing Your Eggs!

Do you have a predator or one of your chickens' stealing eggs from you coop? well, this is for you then!

The objective of this is that the predator doesn't like the taste of the mustard, and they will stop stealing your eggs, you may have to repeat this a few times.

Supplies

Yellow mustard
Needle or sharp object
clear tape
bowl
egg(s)

And something that's stealing your eggs! :)

Step 1: Puncture Shell

Using a needle or sharp object, puncture the shell and make a hole just big enough to drain out the yolk and egg white.

Step 2: Drain & Wash

Drain out everything from the inside of the egg, then wash it out, you don't need to use soap or anything, just rinse.

Step 3: Fill With Mustard

Now, fill your eggshell with 3/4 the way with mustard, if the hole is big enough you can go straight in with the bottle, if not, you can use a syringe.

Step 4: Tape Off the Hole

Tape off the hole on the shell, it doesn't have to be pretty, it will be facedown anyways ;)

Step 5: Place in the Nesting Box

If your eggs are being stolen from your nesting box, just set it straight into the nesting box, hole-down. If they are being stole from somewhere else, put it there.

The point of this is that most predators don't like the strong taste of mustard, so hopefully this helps with your problem.
