Introduction: How To: Ghoul Makeup (Tokyo Ghoul Cosplay)

This is a simple guide to Nashiro's makeup. The guide to the eyes can also be used to recreate other ghouls from Tokyo ghoul. If you want to know how to make the masks check out my other instructable: Twins masks

Step 1: Prime Your Face

Use your favorite primer to prime your face, so that you smooth out your pores. Alpy it to your etire face and don't forget the eyelids.

Step 2: Foundation

Use a foundation that is one shade lighter than your skin tone to get that pale ghoul look. Make sure that the foundation has a lot of coverage to make your skin look flawless. The use a makeup sponge to press the foundation into your skin. Make sure that there is a generous layer so that your face looks flat, like the one of a ghoul.

Step 3: Concealer

Add concealer to all your spots and blemishes and make sure to cover your under eye circles. Make sure to blend it in with the foundation.

Step 4: Powder

Add translucent powder. Be careful not to coat your face in powder, but set the foundation. To make sure just apply it to the areas where you produce oil.

Step 5: Eyebrows

Since I am creating Nashiro (The white, one-eyed twin), I want to lighten up the eyebrows. If you do not want to cover the brows completely, coat the hairs in liquid concealer. To do this make strokes against the direction of growth. Then use a lash comb to bring the brows back into shape. Don't brush out the concealer.

Step 6: Base the Eyes

To base the eyes, use a nude eyeshadow and spread it over the entire lid. Then use a slightly darker brown shade to define the crease.

Step 7: Eyeliner

linDraw a line of eyeliner over your lid. Try to connect the line with the middle of the lid but have a small gap at the inner and outer corner. Then connect the line to your lower lash line.

Step 8: The Ghoul Eye

To create the ghoul eye, use a black eyeshadow to smudge out the eyeliner and blend it into the crease. This should create a smokey-eye-like look. Then use a white eye liner pencil to highlight the inside of your eye and fill the water line. Also draw a smudged line beneath the inner eye. Then use a dark brown eyeshadow and smudge it under the outside of the lower lashline. Then use a liquid eyeliner to draw cracks going away from your face. Make sure to make them look realistic.

Step 9: The Normal Eye

Also line the waterline and the inner eye with a white eyeliner pen. Then use a dark brown eyeshadow to create the same smokey look like on the ghoul eye. Then refine the eyeliner if needed.

Step 10: Lipstick

Cover the lips with a nude lipstick, and if you don't have that, dab foundation onto your lips.

Step 11: Finish the Look

Add a white wig and your red contact lenses if you have any.
