My two baby fantails were left at the end of the evening with no parent and only one of them fed. I found the mother popped her on the one and took the other one to the Kitchen for a meal. Fantail pigeons love water but in heavy rain their feathers get waterlogged and they can not fly. The parents had obviously flown down to get more food and not been able to fly back. The babies were already getting cold, so the hungry one would not have indicated to the Mother, once I put her back in the nest, that he needed to be fed.
