How to Install Kali Linux on Your Windows Cumputer

This is my first instructables. I may not be the best teacher but i will appreciate comments and i will adjust in future.

I am making this video to teach how to install kali linux on your windows computer without having to dual boot.

This will be used for the remaining instructables and hacks in future.

Supplies

Requirements:

Windows computer:

At least 2 GB of RAM, although we recommend 4 GB or higher. (the higher the better)
At least 20 GB of free hard disk space. (the more the better)

Kali(for vmware): https://www.kali.org/get-kali/#kali-virtual-machines

Step 1: What Is VMware?

Vmware is a virtualization software, which allows you to run almost all OS on a single computer. This will allow you to use just a single PC to run multiple OS thereby reducing cost of getting more computers.

Running Kali Linux inside a VM offers several advantages. Using a VM, you can isolate Kali Linux from your main operating system, preventing potential conflicts and security risks.

Although there are other software to run virtual OS but we will be using Vmware due to its simplicity.

Download vmware from the link i provided at the top, install it like any other software.

Step 2: Download Kali

Go to the official site through the link i attached
download for virtual maching
Download for Vmware
Extract the download file with 7zip
Open Vmware
Navigate to where you extracted the file and click on a file called VMware virtual configuration file

Click on "play virtual machine". Thats it, Kali is ready

Username and password is kali
