Introduction: How to Make Beechwood Trays

Laser trays make it easy to transport meals from the kitchen to the table or serve refreshments at a party. Customizable laser trays also add a personal touch to an event or party, adding the finishing touch to any dining experience!

Now is going to use a Thunder Laser system to make a laser Cutting Board. Let’s start to explore fun with the laser!

Supplies

Material: beechwood tray

Laser head: 2" head

Laser engraving machine: Thunder Bolt Pro32 55watt

Step 1: Setting Parameters:

Processing Mode:

Engraving speed: 1000mm/s

Engraving power: 70%

You can also draw on CorelDraw and then click on the laser plug-in to switch to the laser software. Set the appropriate parameters on the laser software and click Download to transfer the design to your laser engraving machine.

Step 2: Engraving It:

Place the tray on the work table of the laser engraving machine, move the laser head to the center of the tray, avoid sensors hitting the higher edges, adjust the focal length, press the “Origin” on the LCD control panel to set the starting position, and then press the “Start” to start the work.

Get the laser tray out and scrub it with a brush and water to remove greasy and dirty, then be sure to dry it immediately and thoroughly. Let’s do it by yourself!
