Introduction: How to Make Bluefin Tuna Maguro Sushi From Legos - Stop Motion Prop

Today I will be explaining a tutorial on how you can build the king of sushi, the Maguro Sushi, out of Lego bricks. After creating the sushi, this can be used for your next stop motion video endeavors or for decoration around your kitchen.

This is a quick and simple build, only requiring red and white bricks and should only require maximum of 15 minutes to build.

Supplies

Lego Part 3023 x 4 White

Lego Part 3710 x 2 White

Lego Part 3795 x 3 White

Lego Part 3020 x 6 Red

Lego Part 112211 x 6 Studded Brick (Any Color)

Step 1: Sushi Rice Base

Use a plate of 2 x 6 for the sushi rice base

Step 2:

Next use bricks with studs on one side on top of the sushi rice base. Any color is fine as it will later be covered by other pieces.

Step 3:

Include the studded bricks on both sides of the short ends as well.

Step 4:

Using the studded bricks, include two plates 1 x 2 and 2 x 4 to vertically snap the legos.

Step 5:

Add some texturing to the rice by include a 1 x4 plate and a 1 x 2 lego plate

Step 6: Sushi Rice

Once you have completed the sushi rice, it should look something like this.

Step 7: Adding the Tuna

Snap a 2 x 4 red plate on one side of the sushi rice.

Step 8:

Stack a 2 x 4 on top of a 2 x 4 with one open row.

Step 9:

Repeat step 8

Step 10: Completing the Tuna

Snap the pieces from step 8 and 9 with a connecting 2 x 4 in the middle

Step 11: Maguro Tuna Rice Complete

Now your Tuna sushi has been completed!
