Intro: How to Make Country Style Ribs

In this instructable, I will show you a very simple way to cook delicious country style ribs.

STEP 1: Ingredients

For this recipe, you will need:

3 1/2 lbs of country style ribs

3 c beef broth + 3 c water (you will need enough of the mixture to cover the ribs entirely in the pot, 1/2 broth & 1/2 water)

1 tsp pepper

1 tbsp salt

1/2 tsp oregano

1 onion

1/4 tsp worcestershire sauce

2 cloves of garlic

1 c bbq sauce

STEP 2: Cut and Mince

I only used half of the onion, the 1/2 of the onion into quarters.

Mince the garlic cloves.

STEP 3: Add a Bunch of Stuff to a Big Pot

In a large pot, add the beef broth, water and all seasonings and bring to a boil.

STEP 4: Add the Ribs

Add the ribs to the pot, turn the heat to low and continue to cook for an hour.

STEP 5: Smother Them!

Remove the ribs from the pot, put in a baking dish and cover them with the barbecue sauce.

STEP 6: Bake!

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in an oven that's been preheated to 325° for about an hour or until the internal temperature is 160°.

STEP 7: Bake a Little More

15 minutes before you remove the ribs from the oven, remove the aluminum foil so they can crisp up on the outside.

STEP 8: Enjoy

These turn out super tender and are pretty easy to do, so I hope you guys try them. If you do, let me know what you think in the comments!

They look good but surely ribs should have bones in them? I don't see any and a lot of the pleasure for me is to pick up the bones and nibble the meat off them.
