Introduction: How to Make Fluffy Slime: Super Kid-Friendly! (5 Steps Only)

If you are like us, keeping your child, little sister, little brother, or babysitting kids both busy and happy at once can be a challenge. Worry no more, you came to the right place! In this 6-step tutorial, you and your little one will not only learn how to make the fluffiest, coolest slime ever, but this experience will be educational for you both as well.

Here are some of our concerns…. The ingredient Borax in our recipe is completely safe, however, one’s skin may get irritated. Do not leave children unattended in the presence of Borax. Avoid touching the eyes, nose, and mouth.
Supplies
Fluffy Slime Ingredients:
Per batch of slime, you will need... ½ cup of Elmer’s Washable School Glue Food Coloring ½ teaspoon of Baking Soda 1 tablespoon of Contact Solution * Important: Your contact solution must contain boric acid and sodium nitrate 3 cups of Shaving Cream
Fluffy Slime Tools: 1 Large Mixing Bowl 1 Spatula or Large Spoon Small Storage Container or ZipLoc Bag (Optional)
Note: We encourage all users to wash their hands before participating in this activity.
Step 1: Measure 3 Cups of Shaving Cream
Shake the shaving cream well. After done shaking the shaving cream spray the shaving cream into the 1 cup measuring cup and fill the cup to the top with the shaving cream. Once you are done filling the 1 cup measure, pour the 1 cup of shaving cream into the mixing bowl. Repeat until you have 3 cups of shaving cream in the mixing bowl
Step 2: Add 1/2 Cup of Glue and Mix
Use the glue bottle and pour into the ½ measuring cup to the top. Then, add the glue into the mixing bowl with the shaving cream. Using the large spoon, mix the glue and shaving cream in the mixing bowl until the substance looks like frosting.
Step 3: Add Food Coloring and Baking Soda
Add 8 drops of food coloring into the mixing bowl. Choose the color of your choice. Once food coloring is in, measure ½ teaspoon of baking soda and sprinkle over the top of the mixing bowl. Stir and mix ingredients well using the large spoon.
Step 4: Add Contact Solution and Mix
Measure 1 tablespoon of contact solution. Add the 1 tablespoon of contact solution into the mixing bowl. Once added, stir the slime for 1 minute or until slime has pulled away from the sides of the mixing bowl.
Step 5: Knead the Slime
Using your hands, take the slime out of the mixing bowl and start kneading the slime. Stretch and knead the slime until slime becomes firm. Important note: Your hands may get covered in dye from the food coloring, however the dye washes out with water.
