Hello everybody,

Since it is almost Valentines day, we decided to show you how to make some heart shaped earrings. Most of the materials used are recycled. We hope you like this Instructable.

Step 1: Materials You Need

What you need to make these earrings:

2 heart shaped punches, one a bit larger than the other.

An aluminum coffee pod

A piece of inner tube from a bike

2 metal colored earring hooks

2 jumprings

Jewelers tools

A needle

Step 2: Cut Out the Pieces From Your Inner Tube

Use the larger heart shaped punch to cut out 2 hearts from the inner bike tube. Because this punch is not symetrical, we cut out a heart on either side

Step 3: Cut Out the Pieces From Your Coffee Pod

Take a cleaned coffee pod and cut off the top and the bottom. The middle part you can use to cut out your hearts. Use the smaller heart shaped punch, as shown in the photos.

Step 4: Now Construct Your Earrings

Put the inner tube heart and the coffee pod heart together and pierce the two, on the side where you want to add your jumpring. Now add the jumpring and earring hooks and your earrings are done!
