Introduction: How to Make No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
This recipe for no-bake chocolate peanut butter cookies has been passed down in my family for three generations. I believe it has just the right amount of chocolate and peanut butter. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have throughout my life. =)
Step 1: Tools + Ingredients
Tools:
- Baking Tray
- Wax Paper
- Saucepan
- Stirring Spoon
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Butter (1 Stick)
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Cup Cocoa
- Dash of Salt
- 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 3 Cups Quick Oats
Step 2: Mixing First 5 Ingredients
In saucepan mix sugar, butter, milk, cocoa, and salt together.
Step 3: Bring to Rapid Boil
Bring to a rapid boil and continue to boil for 1 minute. After 1 minute remove from heat.
Step 4: Add Ingredients
Add peanut butter and oats to the saucepan and stir well.
Step 5: Scoop Onto Paper
Scoop spoonfuls of the desired amount onto wax paper, about 1/2inch apart.
Step 6: Place in Refrigerator
Place tray with cookies into the refrigerator to let set for 1 hour or until hardened.
Step 7: Serve
Once hard, serve cold or at room temperature and enjoy!
