Hahaha, yeah I feel you there. In my head everything I plan will be perfect and magical. In reality... not so much.
I like the bottle cap touch. It makes it look like there's actually a sort of pedestal that it's sitting on, rather than looking like you've just set it on a light. Another blue drink that might work is Mountain Dew Voltage or blue Hawaiian Punch.
