Introduction: How to Make Oatmeal Raisin Cookies From Scratch
INGREDIENTS:
-1 cup (2 sticks) of butter or margarine
- 1 cup of firmly packed sugar
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 1 tsp of baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 3 cups of Quaker Oats (uncooked)
- 1 cup of raisins
MATERIALS:
-metal baking pan
- big bowl
-measuring cup
- measuring spoons
- cooking spray

Step 1:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2:
Beat together the butter (or margarine) and sugars in a bowl until creamy.
Step 3:
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Step 4:
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Step 5:
Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.
Step 6:
Spray cooking spray on the metal baking pan and then drop rounded tablespoons of the mix onto the pan. .
Step 7:
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 8:
Cool cookies for one minute.
Step 9:
ENJOY!
-Now, for you folks out there that don't like raisins- you can still make these delicious cookies! You just simply don't add any raisins to the mix and voila- you have a batch of delicious oatmeal cookies! (:
