Intro: How to Make Oddly Cool & Fancy Colored Pictures in MS Paint

In this Instructable, I will teach you how to make fancy colored pictures in the Microsoft Paint software. I will be using a picture of a coral reef I found on the 'net. This is my first instructable, so you might find it too easy.

STEP 1: Find a Picture

If you don't know how to do this, go back to preschool. I am going to use a coral reef picture.

STEP 2: Get It in MS Paint

Pretty self-explanitory.

STEP 3: Select Your Weapon!!!!!! I Mean Part of Image.

Grab the select tool and select part of -- Not all of -- the image.

STEP 4: Invertify!

Keep the selected area and hit ctrl+I

STEP 5: Rinse and Repeat!

Repeat steps three and four, but in different, overlapping areas as many more times as you wish. In random Areas.

STEP 6: Some Examples

Duh.

does ctrl+l work on paint 2010?
Nice. I didn't know you could do this in MSPaint. I like the cat one best.
Thanks, I had just figured it out a few days before I published this. I think, if I remember correctly, this was actually sparked from boredom on the computer. I do get bored easily on the computer and then I just start messin' around in Paint, then I learn something like this.
Hit the wrong key. continuation of last comment You should have said that ctrl-I will invert the selection giving the reversed colors that are selected..But Cubism is a real art form and sometimes a nice to see hanging over the couch.. Google cubism using images to see Cubism art.
What, you don't think this is Artistic? Enough?
