Introduction: How to Make Paper Spinners
This instructable shows you how to make a cool looking spinner out of one sheet of paper. These are easy to make and fun to play with.
Step 1: Materials
All you really need is a normal sheet of paper. Notebook paper will work, but copy paper looks neater.
You will want some markers, crayons, or colored pencils to decorate.
If you are unskilled in tearing paper, you will also want some scissors.

Step 2: Fold Paper in Half
Fold the sheet of paper in half hamburger style.
Step 3: Tear/Cut Along the Fold
Tear/cut the paper along the fold. You will end up with two equal pieces.
Step 4: Fold the Half Sheets
Fold each half sheet in half hotdog style.
Step 5: Fold Down the Corners of Each Piece
Fold down the corners of each piece so that the line up with the edge of the paper. Make sure the two pieces look the same.
Step 6: Attach the Two Pieces to Create the Spinner
Lay one piece over the other as shown. Fold one of the bottom piece's flaps into the center. Fold the other flaps down in order as shown. Tuck the last flap into the first one. The spinner is now assembled.
Step 7: Shape Spinner for Best Spinning Abilities
Fold the spinner over in both directions and then pinch both sides and push in. This gives the spinner shape for maximum spinning abilities.
Step 8: Customize
Use any color utensils to give the spinner a unique design. Different designs give off cool appearances while being spun. I used sharpies to keep the colors from smearing.
Step 9: Spin It and Have Fun
