How to Make Tie Blankets!

I will be showing steps to making a easy fleece blanket. No sewing is required for this! To start off you will need:

- 2 pieces of fleece about 1 to 1 1/4 yards each

-Scissors

- A place to cut the fabric

- A ruler

Tie blankets are a fun and easy craft that anyone can do!

Step 1: Step 1:

Lay the two pieces of fleece on top of each other evenly

Step 2: Step 2:

When the two fabrics are on top of each other, you will need to trim any edges off so they are the same size.

Step 3: Step 3:

Use scissors and cut right along the edge using a ruler to make sure its straight

Step 4: Step 4:

In one of the corners cut a square that is 3-4 inches from the corner. Cutting out a square helps make tying easier, and it will prevent the fabric from bunching.

Step 5: Step 5:

Now cut more of those squares from every corner.

Step 6: Step 6:

Next you will cut slits. When you cut the slits try to cut 3inches deep. You will make these slits all the way around the fabric. You want to make sure the slits are long enough because if they aren't you won't be able to tie that well.

Step 7: Step 7:

Tie the matching top and bottom together. Make sure you double knot the ties so they stay together.

Step 8: Step 8:

Keep tying around the blanket until you are finished.
