Intro: Beginner How to Make Wire Wrapped Thin/Long/Narrow/Skinny Flat Chain Links
This instructable shows you how to make wire wrapped thin flat chain links.
STEP 1: Measure
Measure a piece of 16 gauge wire that is 1.65 inches long or if you are using flat wire, measure out a piece 1.75 inches long
STEP 2: Hammer
Hammer the wire until it is 1/16th of an inch wide.
STEP 3: File
File the ends so they're not sharp.
STEP 4: Bend
Bend the wire at .45 inches up from the end. Do the same on the other side. Check to see if the link is .75 inches long. If not, unbend and adjust. Bend the top half of the wire down so it's past the adjacent half of the wire and then rebend it so it's on top. This will close the chain link.
STEP 5: You're Done!
Congratulations, here's your finished link!
