How to Make a Cute Simple Tassel Doll From Yarn

Today my sister is making this, cause she wanted to have a go at making something on Instructables as she always sees me doing. This doll style is a wonderful simple collectible and it's one of those things you can make a lot of and not get tired of them!!!

And since they are bassed of a tassel, they can be a fun group project.

Let's get started!

Supplies

• Yarn / or embroidery floss,(floss is better but yarn will do)
• Hot glue
• Some colorful lengths of yarn
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Bendable wire, for the arms
• Thread/embroidery floss (for the arms!!!)

Step 1: The Tassel

Cut a length of yarn that is around 360 inches long! This may seem like a lot but it makes the dress fuller...and better!

fold it in. until you get a small lock of yarn. before you fold it put a piece of yarn in the middle and tie it.

Step 2: Arms

Taking a piece of wire wrap it tightly, and well with thread, or embroidery floss, and put in the folded tassel.

Step 3: Tie It, and Sleeves

Now with that black piece of yarn, we tied around in step 1 pull it up we will use this for the hair.,

And wrap some yarn around the base of the arms, to replicate puffed sleeves. and wrap some to tighten the body,...like a corset!

Step 4: Her Hair

Now with the black yarn, tie it to the first strand we tied in step 1. keep tieing it and pulling until you get something that you like.

Step 5: Belt

With some colorful yarn make some double knots and cut them out., hot glue them to a piece of yarn. Glue them to the doll.

Step 6: Cape (Optional)

Make holes in the cape for the arms, tie a piece of yarn, and tie it at the back.

Step 7: The End!!!

These are wonderful toys to make for a young one, you can also make them with embroidery floss.
