I have been toying around with the idea of making a high powered catapult with a binder clip, but the design kept eluding me. That was until this design was discovered. Here I am using some jumbo craft sticks and zip ties to extend the arms of the binder clip, and they work great.
In the process of creating this design, I came across a Jumbo binder clip and knew I had to make a catapult with it too. And I am so glad I did. IT IS AWESOME! It can shoot up to 100 feet.
Both of the designs in this video are easy to make, but a child may need a little help with tightening and trimming the zip ties.
