Introduction: How to Make a Paper Popper

This instructable is a step by step guide on how to make a paper popper.

Step 1: Gather Materials

materials include a couple of sheets of paper

Step 2: Orient a Piece of Paper Portrait Style

Step 3: Fold the Top of the Paper Towards You Approximately an Inch and Quarter in Distance

The distance can vary from an inch and a quarter to an inch and a half. (You can use the first joint of your index to approximate an inch.)

Step 4: Step 4: Fold the Top of the Paper Again the Same Direction As the Previous Fold

Step 5: Step 5: Continue Folding the Paper Down the Same Amount

Step 6: Step 6: Repeat Step 5

Step 7: Step 7: Repeat Step 6

You should still have a small portion of the paper left sticking out at the bottom after this last fold.

Step 8: Flip the Paper to the Opposite Side

Step 9: Fold the Longer Side of the Paper in Half So That the Previous Folds Are Perdendicular to the Crease.

Step 10: Firmly Grasp the Popper As So, Holding the Thinner Paper Corner(in the Bottom Left) With Your Non-dominant Hand, and Grab the Bottom Left Corner of the Folded Paper With Your Dominant Hand.

Step 11: Using Your Non-dominant Hand, Pull Down the Thicker Portion of the Paper Until the Thicker Paper Overlaps the Bottom.

Step 12: Using You Dominant Hand, Grab the Pulled Down Portion of the Paper.

Step 13: To Pop the Popper, Point the Two Openings in the Direction You Want to Pop the Popper. Quickly Move the Popper in That Direction to Make the Popper Pop.
