Well, perhaps the perfect diorama is a little out of place, however I hope that you can get your ideas from here to make a better one.

To say that this diorama was made back in 2017 and I have it documented, like many other models, such as a dragon wagon, a t34,.... more than anything, in case it is to your liking, I would proceed to upload them.

Initially this was uploaded to a modeling forum and is based on a commercial model of the Italeri brand, with its handmade parts (scratch), detailed and aged by me. What I will do is upload the complete process from when I take the model out of the box until it is finished, including the comments that I put in the forum as is. I hope you like it and find it interesting.

Bueno quizás lo de diorama perfecto este un poco fuera de lugar, no obstante espero que de aquí puedan sacar sus ideas para hacer uno mejor ustedes.

Decir que este diorama lo realice allá por 2017 y lo tengo documentado, al igual que muchos otros modelos, como un dragon wagon, un t34,.... mas que nada por si es de vuestro agrado, procedería a subirlos.

Inicialmente esto fue subido a un foro de modelismo y esta basado en un modelo comercial de la marca italeri, con sus partes hechas a mano (scratch), detallado y envejecido por mi. Lo que hare será subir el proceso completo desde que saque el modelo de la caja hasta que lo finalice incluyendo los comentarios que fui poniendo en el foro tal cual. Espero que les guste y les resulte interesante.

También comentar, que si se guarda el instructables como pdf, podrás ver todas las fotos y comentarios mejor ordenados.

Supplies

Well, after a couple of moments browsing the internet and I found a cool camo or at least a different one for the huey, it actually belongs to a UH-1B helicopter from company 117 that was destroyed in an accident in Quin Nhon, not the C that I am making I don't know to what extent historical rigor is important in a GT, well, as camu existed according to the man who makes the decals (which I'm not going to buy) and there is little difference between models B and C.

There is another version out there that includes orange stripes under the black ones, following the same silhouette and that is the one I want to do. If I am able, if at the last minute I see that it is getting out of hand, then green. Hehehehe.

Bueno tras un par de ratos ojeando internet e econtrado un camo chulo o almenos diferente para el huey, en realidad pertenece a un helicoptero UH-1B de la compañia 117 que fue destruido en un accidente en Quin Nhon, no el C que estoy haciendo yo, no se hasta que punto el rigor historico es importante en un GT, bueno como camu existio segun el señor que hace las calcas (que no voy a comprar) y por modelos el B y el C poca diferencia.

Hay otra version por ahi que incluye rayas naranjas bajo las negras, siguiendo la misma silueta y es esa la que quiero hacer., si soy capaz, si a ultima hora veo que se me va de madre, pues verde. Jejejeje.

Step 1: Interior Assembly

Well, coming to the model, it is quite easy to assemble, few pieces, and despite believing that it was quite small (1/72) compared to the 1/35 that I make, it is quite good in size. I was thinking of making it as it comes from the package, well if it's going to be except for some slight modifications, one of those that you end up saying, wow, I've already screwed up. Well, that's shit, although I hope to solve it.

The belts and that, since it comes quite poorly, I will leave them like this, I still don't know very well where it will go or what it will be doing, but I wanted the door open, and except for some finishing touches... it's going well.

The only thing left to do is paint the interior, and a few more pieces, really, what a wonderful model!!

Bueno llendo a la maqueta es bastante facil de montar, pocas piezas, y a pesar de creer que era bastante pequeña (1/72) comparado con los 1/35 que hago esta bastante bien de tamaño. Pensaba hacerla tal cual viene del paquete, bueno a si va a ser salvo alguna ligera modificacion, de esas que acabas diciendo, vaya, ya la he cagado. Pues eso cagada aunque espero solucionarlo.

Los cinturones y eso que viene bastante pobre los dejare asi, aun no se muy bien donde ira o que estara haciendo, pero la puerta la queria abierta, y salvo algun remate que otro... va bien.

Ya solo queda pintar interior, y pocas piezas mas la verdad, que maravilla de maqueta!!

Step 2: Interior Paint

The exterior is another story because simply by crashing...

Something that I have seen that almost all of them have is a curtain on the back (which is carved on the model) over the insulation, in the photos I have seen it is red, so although they come in olive green instructions, it goes Red. Historically, that is, if they are not clarified even with the camo model, much less with a continuation.

I actually liked the pigments a lot before, but for where I want to put it, they are necessary, at least for now.

To continue, I went to close the cabin and searching the internet for interior photos I saw that next to the door, they all have the visible frame and a couple of first aid kits hanging underneath, in that same column, I am going to ignore the first aid kits, also the The roof of the model comes without any detail, so how to make the insulation I assume that I will do it wrong, I decided that this model did not have the insulation for some reason, and I worked on some beams of the framework. I leave you a photo of an example in which you can see the frame and the column that I mentioned.

Look, I didn't want to get involved and make it a joke, and I came to look for things for him, so I don't finish any model.

I have also taken the opportunity to go over the door frame with putty, the front part of the frame is a little like that, but it doesn't bother me much because the leaf will be resting on that side.

Bueno pues he pintado el interior y le he echado un poco de polvete para el abandono que tendra, no le he puesto esconchones ni nada por el estilo, aunque quizas en la parte de atras debieran de ir, pero como segun dicen se estrello este en concreto, a saber cuantas horas de vuelo llevaba. El exterior ya es otro cantar porque simplemente con estrellarse....

Algo que he visto que llevan casi todos es una cortinilla en la parte de atras (que viene tallada en la maqueta) sobre el aislante, en las fotos que he visto es de color rojo, asi que aunque vienen en insrtrucciones color verde oliva, va de rojo. Historicamente, a saber, si no se aclaran ni con el modeo del camo, menos con una conrtina.

Verdaderamente me gustaba bastante antes de los pigmentos, pero para donde lo quiero poner, son necesarios, al menos por ahora.

Para continuar me meti a cerrar cabina y rebuscando por la red, fotos de interiores vi que junto a la puerta, todos llevan el armazon visible y un par de botiquines colgados debajo, en esa misma colunma, los botiquines los voy a obviar, tambien el techo de la maqueta viene sin detalle ninguno, asi que como hacer el aislante me suponer que lo hare mal, decidi que este modelo no llevaba el aislante por algun motivo, y me currao unas vigas del armazon. Os dejo una foto de un ejemplo en el que se ve el armazon y la colunma que comento.

Mira que no queria liarme y hacerla de caja, y venga a buscarle cosas, asi me va que no termino ninguna maqueta.

Tambien he aprovechado para repasar con masilla el bastidor de la puerta, la parte delantera del marco esta un poco asi asi, pero no me estorba mucho porque la hoja ira apoyada en ese lado.

Step 3: Exterior Assembly

I have also glued the glass, one of them I simulated the cracked glass with the cutter, and others I really broke, the one with the scratched glass does not convince me very much, although I hope it improves with the painting issue, if not I will move on to break it although at this point I hope that is not necessary.

Bueno pues continuamos casi para el final, el montaje ya esta casi casi terminado, al final le he hecho unas ligeras modificaciones, que no mejoras, jejeje.

Tambien he pegado los cristales, uno de ellos le simule con el cutter el cristal rajado, y otros los rompi de verdad, el del cristal arañado no me convence mucho, aunque espero mejore con el tema de la pintura, de no ser asi pasare a romperlo aunque ya en este punto espero eso no sea necesario.

Bueno os dejo con las fotos y ya me direis que os parece.

Pues poco mas, tapar el interior y empezar a ver como hago el camo, las puertas traseras iran abiertas, entre otras cosas porque no parece que puedan cerrarse en realidad ya que en las instrucciones pone que si.

Step 4: Exterior Paint

Getting my hands on camo caused me headaches and loss of desire, in the end I opted only for the black brindle, the complementary orange-red I discarded. Cutting the upper blades also helped, and to a greater extent, to the discouragement. I gave them a cut because I wanted to make it rough, but I never finished knowing if it could happen or not how I cut them, so I made a fix that in my own way. interpreting photos makes more sense.

To make the camo, I have enlarged the image I had to size 1/72, printed it on sticker paper and pasted it on the model, I did not want to do this since for those who do not know, the sticker paper does not look like it. Absolutely not the Tamiya masking tape (to name a brand) but it gets wet, softens, sticks,.... But I had no choice, so I put it on and to cover up or improve the design, taking into account that From a 2D image, going to 3D does not match no matter how much we want it, I used maskol, it is the first time I use it and hey, great product and then repainting errors, but it was basically filling in. I chose the black color, the NATO camouflage and the base color, a dark green, which is what I used for the dragon wagon and I liked it, apart from the fact that I bought 3 bottles and we have to sell it,... I have only applied one washed, with dark brown, to give it a bit of dirt, pigments are missing and before these the details.

Looking at the photos closely I have realized the joints that I have left without puttingty, how bad the model is,.....

Well now to dust, scratch some areas due to the effect of the fall, add mud if necessary and prepare the ground.

Meterle mano al camo me a costado dolores de cabeza y perdida de ganas, al final me decantado solo por el atigrado negro, el naranjo-rojo complementario lo descarte. Tambien ayudo y en mas medida al desanimo el cortar las aspas superiores, les di un tajo porque queria ponerlo accidentado, pero no termine nunca de saber si podia ocurrir o no el como las corte, asi que le he hecho un apaño que a mi modo de interpretar fotos tiene mas sentido.

Para realizar el camo, he ampliado la imagen de la que disponia a tamaño 1/72, imprimido en papel de pegatina y pegado sobre el modelo, esto no queria hacerlo ya que para el que no lo sepa el papel de pegatina no se parece en absoluto a la cinta carrocero de tamiya (por poner marca) sino que se humedece reblandece, se queda la pega,.... Pero no me quedaba mas remedio, asi que la puse y para tapar o mejorar el diseño, teniendo en cuenta que de una imagen 2d pasar a 3d no combina por mucho que queramos, use maskol, es la primera vez que lo uso y oye, gran producto y despues repintando errores, pero ya basicamente era rellenar. El color negro e elegido el del camu de la otan y el de base, un verde oscuro que es el que utilice para el dragon wagon y me gusto, aparte que compre 3 botes y hay que darle salida,... Solo he aplicado un lavado, con marron oscuro, para darle un pelin de suciedad, faltan pigmentos y antes que estos los detalles.

Bueno a ver que os parece.

Mirando las fotos de cerca me he dado cuenta de las uniones que me he dejado sin masillar, que malo es el modelo,.....

Bueno ahora a empolvar, arañar algunas zonas por el efecto de la caida, echar barro si acaso y preparar el terreno.

Step 5: Terrain

Hello colleagues, although I have not yet finished it due to lack of "water", I am waiting for an order that I have made of several things in which I will receive the epoxy resin from AK to make water for my rice field. I'll leave you to see what you think.

The first photos are with the tall bushes, and then already trimmed to their final size, the water should rise about 4mm or 5mm at most, just enough to enter through the side door of the helicopter and give the sensation I want. I still have to do the scuffs and mud stains on the helicopter from the "landing" but I want to try the resin first to see what color looks best on it.

Hola compañeros, aunque aun no lo tengo terminado por falta de "agua" estoy esperando un pedido que tengo hecho de varias cosas en el que me llegara la resina epoxi de ak para hacer el agua para mi campillo de arroz. Os dejo a ver que os parece.

Las primeras fotos son con las matas altas, y luego ya recortadas a su tamaño final, el agua deberia de subir unos 4mm o 5mm a lo sumo, lo justo para entrar por la puerta lateral del helicoptero y que de la sensacion que quiero. A el helicoptero aun tengo que hacerle los desgastes y las manchas de barro del "aterrizaje" pero quiero probar primero con la resina a ver que color le queda mejor.

Step 7: Finish!

Muy buenas, lo que tenia intención de ser un proyecto sencillo y corto de un helicóptero sin peana ni nada se me ha ido complicando hasta acabar en esto. En principio era una cosa sin muchas florituras, pero se fue complicando, se que tiene un monton de fallos y tal, pero me ha gustado mucho hacerlo. y una vez que llega la resina se acabo el poder modificar.
