Introduction: How to Make a Skateboard Grind Rail
I needed a rail, so I built one! It is around 6 feet long, 4 inches high, and 3 inches wide.
DISCLAIMER: This I'ble requires welding. Any injuries are not my responsibility, and you must accept the risk by starting this project.
Also, skateboarding, inline, scooter, etc. are all dangerous. Any injuries on this rail are not my responsibility.

Step 1: Materials
You will need-
MATERIALS
-a round rail (mine was scrap from a car axle, but you should find one at any hardware store) (picture 1)
-two small scraps of metal, around 8 in. by 6 in. by 1 in. (picture 2)
-you may need metal to make the feet, however, the axle i used already had feet (picture 3), therefore you may have to improvise
TOOLS
-one MIG welder (picture 4 and 5)- a hand welder will do
SAFETY
-welding masks (picture 6)
-gloves
-jeans and a long-sleeved shirt or sweatshirt

Step 2: Finishing
Not literally finishing- just making it ready for welding. For most this will not be necessary, however, the axle had a random weld in one end (picture 1), so we had to grind it off (picture 2). Obviously this will not happen to most, but this is a good opportunity to do this.
Step 3: Welding
Ok, so, you are going to have to put together your build first, before you weld, and make it perfect. (picture 1)
Then you are going to begin welding. (picture 2) you only really NEED to weld in four places, where the feet meet the base, on either side (picture 3) I did 12, just to be sure. :P

Step 4: Skate!
You're done! Now just grab your wax and board and go crazy :D
