Introduction: How to Make a Sound Reactive Leds Using One Mosfet

About: Hello friends i show how to make stuff with no skills easy to replicate step by step from powerbanks, generator, invertors and so on thanks

Hi there friends today i will present How to make sound reactive leads using one mosfet transistor IRFZ44n

and some other parts easy to find and assemble at home for a night light effect party time.

Step 1: What Is a Mosfet

The metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET, MOS-FET, or MOS FET) is a type of field-effect transistor (FET), most commonly fabricated by the controlled oxidation of silicon.
It has an insulated gate, whose voltage determines the conductivity of the device. This ability to change conductivity with the amount of applied voltage can be used for amplifying or switching electronic signals. A metal–insulator–semiconductor field-effect transistor or MISFET is a term almost synonymous with MOSFET. Another synonym is IGFET for insulated-gate field-effect transistor

In simple words using a Mosfet is better than a regular transistor because it requires less current to open drain to source contact and it has the build in feature one turned on it stays on.

Step 2: Sound Flashing Leds

This project is very easy to replicate and it will show a graphical representation of your preferred music transmitting the bass vibration to a string of LEDs and make them to flash according to the music rhythm.

In order to do this music reactive led effect we will need a few components and a soldering iron and 5-10 minutes so let's get started.

Step 3: Music Reactive LED Parts

For this project we will need the following components:

-Mosfet transistor IRFZ44n(not crucial)

-Electrolytic capacitor(not crucial)

-1.2K ohm resistor

-Speaker any size

-Leds

-LI-ion battery 4v

In the next step i will show the beginners diagram on how to wire the components

Step 4: Sound Reactive Led Diagram

The mosfet has 3 pins from left to right.Fist on the left and middle one will have a resistor 1.2k connected then the capacitor with the positive terminal facing the resistor and the minus will be connected to the jack stereo cable.

From the middle pin, we will connect the speaker in series with the positive terminal of the battery .And we have left just the minus of the battery which we will connect to the left side pin of the MOSFET and the other pin of the jack stereo cable.

The LEDs will be connected straight to the speaker +/- terminals accordingly.

Step 5: Its Reactive Sound Party Time

We have managed to build together this nice, easy and fun sound reactive led effect that will light your room according to your preferred music and light up your party very easy cheap and affordable flashing LEDs homemade.
