This project creates the shirt for a Zombie Nerd Halloween costume. The costume makes it look like the Zombie has been stuck with a bunch of pencils.

Supplies:
The basic supplies you will need are fabric scissors, white fabric, liquid stitch (fabric glue), pencils, old business shirt, spray blood, a hot glue gun, a saw, and pink,red and purple paint. This costume is not very hard to make when you have experience at making other costumes or decorations.

Step 1: Prepare Pencils

Get about 3 pencils. They should have points but not sharp ones. Cut each pencil in half with the saw.

Step 2: Cut Fabric Backing and Attach Pencils

Cut some white fabric in to a small rounded corner squares ( about 2")
Glue the half pencils in the middle of the square with hot glue ( 1 pencil per cloth square).

Step 3: Paint Base of Pencils

Paint the glue spot to look like flesh. Using pink, red, and a little bit of purple.
Dab streaks of red paint on top of the glue and a little bit on the pencil for a blood effect on the pencil.

Step 4: Layout the Pencils

Lay out the pencils on the business shirt to decide on the locations. Once you are happy, cut small holes in the shirt and push the pencils though from the back.

Step 5: Glue Pencils to Shirt

Using fabric glue attach the pencils to the shirt. Use straight pins to hold the fabric and shirt together while drying. The fabric glue takes 24 hours to dry completely.
