Introduction: How to Make an Awesome LEGO Bracelet!
LEGOs are fun, versatile, and endlessly captivating. Combine those properties with a heat gun, and you have endless applications and infinite possibilities! Enjoy this tutorial and have fun making your awesome LEGO bracelet!
Step 1: Materials
You'll need:
- One Grey LEGO Brick (12 long, 1 wide, thinnest)
- One Yellow LEGO Brick (12 long, 1 wide, thinnest)
- A Heat Gun
- Patience
Colors of bricks may vary, depending on what you have and what you decide you want. It is all about customization!
Step 2: Bending the LEGOs
Connect the two LEGO bricks with two overlapping "sections." (as shown) Plug in your heat gun, and turn it on low. Do not point the heat gun at the center section where the LEGOs overlap, instead point it to the sides until the plastic shows signs of malleability. As soon as the plastic begins to look flexible stop and bend it to approximately the curve shown in the picture. This may take several attempts. This entire process should be done outdoors to avoid inhaling any noxious fumes the plastic may release.
Step 3: Have FUN!
Remember to have fun with your bracelet! It can be given as a gift, used as a mobile, mini building platform for LEGOs, or just worn as a fun, interesting conversation starter! Whatever you use it for, enjoy!

does heating and bending the plastic weaken the plastic? In other words, do you still have the bracelet or has it broken?
Reply 6 years ago
I don't still have the bracelet, but as best I can remember heating and bending the plastic did not significantly weaken it. (P.S. I don't have the bracelet because I was careless and lost it, not because it broke. :-)
