Intro: How to Make an Instructables Robot USB Drive

This is a fun and inexpensive USB drive project, and to me it looks a lot better than regular usb drives!

STEP 1: The Supplies

For this little instructable you are going to need the following:

1. Instructables sticker or Instructables robot print out(you can win the stickers from contests)
2. USB drive (doesn't matter how much memory it has)
3. scissors
4. pen
5. hotglue gun/hotglue
6. cardboard

STEP 2: Tracing the Sticker/Print Out

Now get your cardboard and sticker (or print out) and lay it on top of the cardboard. Then get your pen and trace around the sticker.

STEP 3: Cutting the Cardboard Out

Once you have traced the sticker on to the cardboard get your scissors and cut along the black line.

STEP 4:

After that get your USB drive and put hotglue one side.

STEP 5: Now Its Time to Apply

Get your cardboard and apply it to the hotglued side of the USB drive.

STEP 6: Stick on the Sticker and Your Done

Now all you have to do is stick on the sticker (or apply some hotglue if your using a print out) to the cardboard and then you will have completed your very own Instructables USB drive!

its pretty cool but big USBs are very annoying if you have to plug it in the back or you have other USBs in so next time its probly worth getting a smaller printout.

This is pretty cool.
Hmm, I'd have opened the pen-drive and inset its innards into a cut-out in the card, then covered both sides with a sticker.

cool, i was gonna do that but i just forget, thanks for commenting! btw you could use the USBs that have the plug in move in and out, just an idea.
