With old laptop battery, we can reuse it for many purpose with 18650 battery.

Today, I will show you How to open Laptop Battery and get 18650 without any TOOLS

STEP 1: Using Liquid

I'm using nail polish remover to remove the glue

STEP 2: Shake It and Done

I'd suggest if you're going to do this, clamp the battery casing in a vice or similar and keep one hand behind your back to ensure there's minimal risk of accidentally injecting yourself with acetone or whatever.

So... You don't consider a syringe with a metal needle a tool? Definition of tool... A device or implement, especially one held in the hand, used to carry out a particular function.

Yeah, you're right!
Of course we don't need any syringe with a metal.
What I want to emphasize is the use the nail remove liquid. you can direct to use it with your finger!

I get 18650 battery inside it for other DIY project in the next time!
Usually, I saw everybody trying to get 18650 with hammer, knife...with my method you need only liquid!

Hi there, I have several old laptop batteries that I wanted to remove the 18650 batteries and was unsure how to get to them. Now I know!
