This is a tutorial on how to set up an account, and play roblox. This is a broad tutorial so no specifics for certain, or special games. The game i will be using as an example is an older game from 2010 called Hotel Elephant. Roblox is a platform that hosts man different games/experiences.

Supplies

the internet/connect to internet, Computer, or phone. (xbox tutorial coming soon.)

Step 1: Creating an Account

To even access roblox you'll need to create an account. You can log in as seen at the top right, Or you can create an account. You'll need to set your age, username, password and gender. But after setting up your account, Your gender never comes back up and you can change it freely in the avatar setting.

Step 2: Explore Home

you'll see this when you finally create an account. It shows the games roblox recommends to new players based on popularity, Games popular in your country or area, and just games robloxs finds players enjoy. now before you go into a game let's get into what you'll find at the left side of your screen. Most of this is unimportant to you right now, But one is one of the most important features of roblox. That is Avatar. Click it and you'll find the next step.

Step 3: Avatar

This is the avatar section, You start with free clothes and items. This includes Hair, Body types, glasses, and many more! you start off with white skin and blue legs, But going to the body tabs and skin can change it's colour. any recommended items are items you don't own and will often have to buy with robloxs built in currency. you start with zero of this currency, it is called "Robux". Accessories are where hats, glasses and backpacks usually go, body is where body types and faces usually go, and clothing is where shirts, pants,dresses and t-shirts go. Once your done making a character to back to home and pick a game.

Step 4: Enter the Game

Once you pick a game and click it, you'll be taken to a page like this. They include a description of the game, Facts such as date created, last date updated, Current players, type of game, all time visits and how many people can be in one server. to create a "Private server" You'll need to pay in game currency called "Robux". After playing a game you can like or dislike it, but you can favourite and follow one before playing. once you're ready to play, press that green button. It will bring you to a download screen.

Step 5: Click Download

Clicking download will prompt a usually quick download. Roblox has been tested and has been proven safe for over a decade. as it originally came out in 2006.

Step 6: Play the Game

Once you're in, You can usually just enjoy the game by yourself! But roblox does have a chat feature, and has some helpful menu options like reporting bad or disrupting players.

Step 7: Chat

Pressing the clipboard, or pressing / on your computer will open the chat. Chat can be used for setting roleplay names, using game commands, and most importantly talking to other players.

Step 8: Menu Options

The menu can allow you just on the first page to see other players and their avatars, and even friend them. the second page is for volume, Graphics and preformence, the report section is used to reporting bad players. This can be for bullying, Hacking, Swearing and much more. The help section is used for controls, and the record section is for screenshots and videos.

Step 9: One Last Menu

By pressing Tab on your computer, A smaller player menu is brought up. This can show how many points or in-game...in-game currency a player has. This is different to "Robux" and usually does not carry over to different games. you can also find and friend other players from this menu.

Step 10: Enjoy Your Roblox Experince!

Talk to other players, Build, Battle, Hide, train and just have fun! Roblox is something I grew up on, And so did my little cousin, Who is 10 years younger than me! But I remember the struggle we had trying to figure out how roblox functioned, Same with out parents.
