Step 1:
1. Turn the ignition off.
Step 2:
2. Press and hold the 0,0 button (located to the right of the instrument cluster).
Step 3:
3. Turn the igntion on (do not start the engine) and release the 0,0 button.
Step 4:
4. Briefly press the double square button (located to the left of the instrument cluster).
Step 5:
5. Turn the ignition off, turn it back on and go back in the ''oil life'' menu to verify the indicator has been reset.
Step 6:
6.DONE!!!:D

I reset the oil light that comes on randomly while driving but that doesnt stop the oil light from flashing on while driving?

Sounds like your Low Oil Pressure warning light, not your Oil Reminder.

Does this apply to 2014 passat?

I would need to verify that on an actual passat but it should be pretty much the same.
