How to Rotate an Image in Instructables!

I'm ashamed to say it took me 2 days to figure out how to rotate an image in Instructables. I'm making this so I remember how to do it again, and you'll know how to as well. LOL.

Step 1: +Add Image

Click browse to add your image.

Step 2: Rotate!

You'll notice this image is in need of a-rotating. Click the little circular arrow thingy by it and viola! Rotated image.

It is a shame that the photos cannot be rotated after the upload. It is also nonsense to upload photos by rotating them differently than the original ones during the upload.

Rotate doesn't help either. I give up after a few tries. There is no way to keep the orientation of the photos vertical. Even if you rotate it before loading, the system brings it in a horizontal state during the installation process.

Thx... I will try... this is really annoying that it is correct on my computer but upside down once uploaded.

If you’re image is auto rotating after you upload it, upload it facing the opposite way.

Let’s say you upload an image and it’s facing the correct way on your computer but on instuctables is upside down. Upload it upside down and it should be in the proper position. It’s worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you!
