Intro: How to Solder in 30 Seconds

This is a brief (very brief) tutorial of how to solder. Due to the lack of time, soldering through hole components to circuit boards are only explained. This is one of the most common types of soldering for DIYers like in the Instructable community.

apparently in North America we say it "sodder" while the rest of the world calls it "soul-der." so I guess it's an american thing?

It must be, I heard it once before, but it's not often you hear people speak on this site. Is this just a word-of-mouth thing do you think? L

Hehe. I love soldering guides. If I can add my 2 cents, I'd suggest you don't wipe the tip off before putting the iron away. Always put fresh solder on it right after you wipe it. So if you're lazy, then only wipe it right before you solder something, not afterward.
