This is fully spooled baitcaster.

Supplies

You will need a baitcaster, rod and reel, fishing line, a pair of scissors, and a bowl with warm water

Step 1: Warm Water

You are going to want to get warm water and put your fishing line in it for about 20 minutes. The purpose of this is to just get some of the memory out of the line so it will mold to your reel and forget the curve it had on the spool of fishing line.

Step 2: Line Through the Line Guide

To start spooling the reel you first have to put your line through the line guide.

Step 3: First Knot

Once you have your line through the line guide, bring the line around the back of the spool and tie a basic overhand knot twice. You can cut the tag end of the line and if you want to you can put a small piece of tape over the knot to make sure it doesn't come undone but you don't have to.

Step 4: Spooling the Reel

Now all you are going to do is apply light pressure to the line and slowly reel it in. A good pace to reel at is about one repetition per second.

Step 5: When to Stop

Stop when you can see about 1/8th of an inch left on the spool.

Step 6: Last Step

The last thing you have to do is cut the line and run it through each guide all the way up the rod and then you are good to tie on whatever bait you want to use and fish.
