If you are looking to add a personal touch to your morning coffee routine or create unique gifts for your loved ones, you've come to the right place. In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of sublimation on coffee mugs using a mug heat press.

Supplies

Materials Used in Tutorial:

1 X Sublimation Mug White Blank

1 Sheet Sublimation Paper

1 Roll Sublimation Tape


Tools Used in this Tutorial:

Vevor Mug and Tumbler Heat Press

Sawgrass 1000 Sublimation Printer

Step 1: Print and Collect Image From Sublimation Printer

You may refer to our Sublimation on a Glass Cup Tutorial to learn how we completed previous steps for file preparation.

Step 2: Cut Away Excess Whitespace From Sublimation Paper

In the image a guillotine is used to the paper, but regular craft scissors are okay to use! White space will not show in your final sublimation print.

Step 3: Use Sublimation Tape to Wrap and Secure Paper Over Mug

Make sure the paper is as tightly and securely wrapped around mug as possible.

Step 4: Place Mug Inside Heat Press for 120 Seconds at 400 Degrees Farenheit

Step 5: After Letting Mug Cool, Peel Away Sublimation Paper

Step 6: Enjoy Your New Mug!
