Introduction: How to Take the PREFECT Selfie

About: Yes. Citizen of heaven. John 3:16.

Taking a selfie can be a difficult task, but once you learn the tequniche the results are fabulous!

Supplies

The majority of selfies are taken on a phone, although they are possible with a camera.

Step 1: Best Angles

A common rule for taking selfies is not to hold your phone to low, I'll explain why. A selfie where you arm is below your face reveals some very unflattering aspects of our faces, including nose hair, double chins and to look at the camera our eyes natraully close half way.

Some exeptions for a lower selfie are that the look can be unique as well as easier if your taking a selfie with an animal.

Step 2: Finding the Right Lighting

As you can see from two of the pictures above bad lighting can TOTALLY ruin a selfie, here's how to figure out perfect lighting. When you're taking the selfie be sure that the sun is coming from behind you not in front, this way you won't have to squint and your faces won't look like a waning moon.

Step 3: Let's Do This!!

Now that we have our angle correct, and the lighting just right, let's take a selfie! For a good selfie you'll want to hold your phone horizontally. With your pointer and pinkie finger on the top and bottom, and your middle and ring finger supporting the back use your thumb to press the spot to take a picture.

Yay, you took a PERFECT selfie!!
