Hi, my name is Eli Jones. I want you to know there is a
cheap and easy way to be way more comfortable while driving in your vehicle, and you can do it right at home. I can show you how to apply window tint to your vehicle windows in a few short steps.

To complete these tasks you will need a roll of tint for
each window, a spray bottle with a soap/water mix, paper or cloth towels, a razor blade(box cutter), and a hand applicator(squeegee)

Step 1: Prep the Window and Tint

Before we start, we need to spray down the inside and outside of the glass, with the window all the way up. Use the towel to wipe it clean. Respray the entire outside of the glass and roll the window down about two inches. Open the box of tint and use the blade to cut the sticker. The sticker will always be on the plastic piece that is removed.

Step 2: Begin to Cut/Shape the Tint

Take the roll of tint with the sticker side facing out. Roll the tint horizontally over the window and cut the tint so it overhangs on both sides of the window.Then use the blade to cut along the top and sides of the window. Make sure the tint is flat on the glass and not wrinkled. Do not cut the tint on the bottom side of the window. Be precise as you cut along the edge of the glass.

Step 3: Apply the Tint

After the sides top and sides of the window have been cut out, Take the tint and move it to the inside of the glass. Grab one corner of the tint and pull apart the plastic sheet from the tint. As you do this, make sure to not let any of the tint fold over on itself. Also, make sure the tint it always being sprayed by the soap water continuously. We do not want the tint to be too dry and sticky. After i have pulled the plastic off, apply the sticky side of the tint (the side that the plastic had covered) to the window and line up your top and side edges. Once the top and sides are lined up, cut off any extra and tuck the tint under the seal on the sides. This will make the tint be flat on the window and you will be able to roll the window all the way back up now. Use the blade to cut and tuck the tint on the bottom, just as you did on the sides of the window.

Step 4: Remove Bubbbles and Complete

In the final steps we will remove all the water and bubbles from underneath the tint. Take the squeegee and scrape from the middle of the window to the outer edge. With the squeegee go parallel over the bubbles to push the air to the sides without putting a crease through the tint. Look through the window from the outside to see if there are still bubbles and creases that need to be removed. Sometimes they are only visible from the outside. Once all of the corners have been sucked into the seal, and the bubbles have been removed, the process is complete. Make sure to not roll your window down for the next 24 hours.
