Intro: How to Transfer Data Using Led (li-fi Technology)

Li-Fi stands for Light Fidelity. The technology is very new and was proposed by the

German physicist Harald Haas in 2011 TED (Technology). I will show a simple experiment based on li-fi.

STEP 1: Components Needed

1)led

2) aux cable

3)68ohm resistor

4)9v battery and connecter

STEP 2: Connection

STEP 3:

Now we need

1) 2 speakers

2) audio board

3) solar panel

5)9v battery and connecter

STEP 4:

Now our simple circuit is complete.we can transfer audio signals using led and solar panel

STEP 5: More Details in Video

Would using a Green Light filter help in indoor conditions?

I'm not talking about the LED color. I'm saying that if you use color filters, for example if your using a Red LED then a RED filter should only allow Red Light to pass. Since indoor lighting is mostly a shade of Yellow or White or Blue, it won't affect the received signal since it(acts as noise) will be blocked by a filter.
