Step 1
Find door that needs to be trimmed you should tell this needs trim because you can see through the wall and door frame.
Step 2
Measure door height and width on both sides so you have a general idea of how much trim you need.
Step 3
Go buy the trim that you like.
Step 4
Get a miter saw so you can cut the angles on the trim to 45degree angles.
Step 5
Measure the top of the door that will be the short end to short end so the top of the board will be longer then the bottom that’s because you put two 45degree angles on them do this for both sides then nail them up.
Step 6
Measure from the floor to the short end of the trim on the top of the door and that’s where you need to cut a 45 but subtracted 3/8ths of an inch from the length you just got.
Step 7
Repeat step 6 three more times.
